Costcodle vs Scrandle

I opened scrandle.com the same day I re-read Costcodle's rules, 2026-09-30. Both are free browser dailies about food. That is where the similarity ended for me.
What I type
On Costcodle I type a price. The code marks a win at 5 percent or closer and paints yellow inside 25 percent. On Scrandle the page asked me to decide which item is superior, judged from social chatter rather than a printed warehouse tag. I never saw a dollar field.

Which one I open
If I want the arithmetic, I stay on Costcodle and use the tips. If I want a louder food argument with no calculator, Scrandle is the other daily. I do not treat them as substitutes when someone asks for a price game. More price-shaped games are on the price guessing page.
Scrandle's own homepage meta, read 2026-09-30, calls it a daily web game of food comparison. Costcodle thresholds are from scripts/main.js.
